‘Sisters are for sharing laughter and wiping tears’. Always there was plenty of laughter and not too many tears. We made and shared so many happy memories together. Grandma, I'll always cherish the days spent at your house, from playing games to our walks. It seems as though joy followed you everywhere. There's so much I wish I could ask you, yet there's so much of me that I think I am because of you. You're the kindest, bravest person I've ever known. Love you always

When I was little I played dressing up in your net underskirt and winkle picker shoes wishing I could jive to the records like you. Now I hope I can be as brave and compassionate as you. Love you auntie Ann x Karen

Paul, Mick and Joyce would like to thank all family, friends and neighbours past and present for all their kind wishes and generous donations to Cancer research. It has been a great comfort to know how fondly Ann was thought of by so many people. Thank you too to all at A Wass and son, in particular Sam whose help with everything both beforehand and on the day was very much appreciated. Ann was very much at the heart of the family & will be greatly missed but never forgotten & as we go forwards now we try to do it with the great courage and dignity that she showed through her life.
