Show me a woman who loved and I will show you, my mom, show me a woman of Virtue and I will show you, my mom. My mom sacrificed her life so I can be where I am today and I am eternally grateful to have been mothered by a woman like her. She taught me how to pray and preserve in prayer till I got the answer I wanted from God. I love you Mom and I miss you every day. Till I see you again Maami. Rest on in the blossom of the Lord.

Ife mi, having u in my life as a wife and mother of our children is an enormous favour from God. Pro.18:22 "He who finds a wife...obtains favour from the Lord." Pro 14:1 "The wise woman builds her house...." Am struggling to write, as I have to fight tears. I hope God will give me the grace and space to talk/write about u soon, and in the future. Yemi, thank u for giving yourself to me. U submitted yourself to me as God ordains. Thank u for a life of unbroken love. Thank u for a life of sacrifice. Thank u for stepping on to the platform of wise women, for u stood with me to build a house as demonstrated in the godly life u lived and in the God fearing children u raised, plus an adorable grandson. Ife mi, thank u for believing in me, even when things appear not working. There can't be another u in my life, Yemi! Above all, thank u for ur love for God and for living for Him. Adebowale, ololufe mi, thank u for all the memories. At this moment words are failing me, but this poem you thought me a long time ago might convey just a bit of what I am feeling at the moment Who sat and watched my infant head When sleeping on my cradle bed, And tears of sweet affection shed? My Mother. When pain and sickness made me cry, Who gazed upon my heavy eye, And wept for fear that I should die? My Mother. Who taught my infant lips to pray And love God’s holy book and day, And walk in wisdom’s pleasant way? My Mother. And can I ever cease to be Affectionate and kind to thee, Who wast so very kind to me, My Mother? Ah, no! the thought I cannot bear, And if God please my life to spare I hope I shall reward they care, My Mother. When thou art feeble, old and grey, My healthy arm shall be thy stay, And I will soothe thy pains away, My Mother. Till me meet at the feet of Jesus never to depart again.

You showed me the way to Christianity and I learnt how to pray and to depend on God and not man.epitome of true love. Yemi, that was how we used to call you those days. You're a good wife, mother and grandmother. And you and my good friend have always been together in good times and bad times. And you always followed the path of honesty. With teardrops running down my face, I bid you farewell. Rest in peace.

Sweet is the memory of the Righteous! Beloved sister, your demise is painful, but our solace is in the fact that you were a thorough Christian. You knew the Lord, you loved Him, and you served Him. A woman of faith, and a prayer warrior. You believed in God and trusted Him till the moment you drew your last breath. The last time you spoke to me, it was to profess your unwavering faith in God, and like Enoch in the Bible, you walked with God, and He took you to be with Him. Rest in the Bossom of the Lord, till the glorious resurrection morning dear saved soul!!

Mummy, the most popular word used for mothers. Here and now, I am not thinking of other words to call you, neither can I deny the fact that the first time I met my friend's mum and interacted with her wasn't different from the way I am used to with every motherly figure I have ever had in my life. She didn't say so much, but prayed. She didn't ask many questions, but showed plenty concerns. So that's how I knew mummy was a Christian, it was needless to ask or doubt -:This is my testimony. Though I am sober and unhappy about the news, I personally have no regrets because I know that if I keep pushing in the faith looking forward to the appearing of the Lord Jesus on the resurrection morning, I will surely see mummy again, rest on Mummy.

Aya Aromu, Mrs. Adebowale Adeyemi Olabanji Adekanye missing you already, but you are not forgotten. While many people walk into your life, only a few leave a meaningful footprint. Your smile, your desire to make positive impact in others, and your encouraging words have help to shape my life. The thought of knowing that you care for those around you is also very meaningful. “Pastor, please I need prayer for some people in my church” or “Pastor, there are people I really wish I could help” all resonate well with me and help me to see the true meaning of living. You gave until you have no more to give. You loved until you are no more. People may have forgotten what you said or did, but they will never forget how you made them feel. In the word of Ellen Brenneman, “We can’t know why the lily has so brief a time to bloom in the warmth of sunlight’s kiss upon its face before it folds into its fragrance and bids the world good-night to rest its beauty in a gentler place.” Well! Goodbye is always very hard to say, but this one thing I know, I will see you later, sister. Rest on!

Iya niwura! After rivers of emotions have poured out of our eyes, A multitude of questions plague us, Then we see your face, we hear your voice; Olorun o ki n fi awon eniyan e sile o… And I know, truly, God didn't leave you. We might not have the answers yet but we know that God is with you always and now you're with him. What could be better? Mommy, your smile, your spirit! Your tenacity! Your joy and all that you were lives on For every hug, word, prayer, and advice you sowed a seed into our lives and that guarantees your spot in our hearts, seeds that generations will come to enjoy. Mommy, you left us with a legacy, you left us with a mark, you left us with the most beautiful part of you, your memories and for every moment, we'll light a candle in our hearts, for every slice of memory, we'll smile and remember how much you loved us! A dear one’s demise is always a pain in the neck, a wound in the heart and a memory to nurse. But what would have been worse is never to have known you. Your passing at this time, dear Mrs Adekanye Ruth Adebowale, is painful because we have lost another beautiful soul, honest and fair to all. Your love, patience and faith always reminded us of the Scriptural Ruth. Your unparalleled love for your husband, children and other members of our family cannot be overemphasised. Your devotion also was always an inspiration. During your time at AIB, you devoted your life to service, care and support for all. My wife and I always cherished these virtues in you. Your schedule, challenges and responsibilities didn’t take away your true sense of humor and love. To your husband and the family that you left behind, we charge them to please take heart. Always remember that the eternal God is your refuge, and His everlasting arms are always supporting you both at this trying time and beyond. We all take solace in the promise of our Lord that we shall still meet again in His presence – where we shall part no more. Sleep on Mrs Adekanye Ruth Adebowale! I know a woman virtuous and true, the pride of her husband and the eagle's feather on his crown. I know a woman, who shines through the tunnel, our gloomly tales  won't be success stories without her sacrifices. I know a woman, who is the life of the party,  her infectious energy  will set you free, her love is pure and tender, those negative emotions  can't stand her light. I know a woman who walks on a straight  line, on her back these many children are reaching to the sun, dusting the star dust  off their shoulders. I know a woman who taught me how  to love, her every act under my keen eyes expressed compassion. I know a woman who I call my mother,  many days I never came home, her   love was patiently waiting . I know a woman who is a light worker. You touched many with your sweet  soul, so beautiful, so true. I know a woman, we all love dearly, though our love will miss the time and space we share, We can't  deny  she's in God's Glory. I will see you on the other side ma. Love, David Oluwadamilola Vanteko.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for just one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not understand why you had to leave this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we will begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived and lived a good and full life. Also, that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. Till we meet to part no more, Continue to Rest In Peace.
