Well Boss I can’t get my head around all of this I really can’t . I might have only known you for a couple of years but in that time you have told me things that I’ll always remember like all the old stories of you driving trucks all over the world and driving to Dubai when there was only one road , or how you used hammers to knock off the handbrake in the old trucks because they would slam down and brake your fingers . The one interaction that I’ll hold very close to my heart is the day I asked you if I could marry your daughter and the first thing you asked me was do you love her and will you always provide for her but you finished it off by saying it’s a yes from me but wait till Becky gets back from the shop because I don’t wanna get in trouble with her . You shook my hand and said we’ll talk more when Becky gets home . I like to think that you are on one more journey but one that never ends and is full with all the joy and happiness you experienced in your life . I promise to look after your daughter.
